One of the biggest questions we see asked is “what is the difference between engineering and production?” and the answer is a simple! Engineering focuses on the technical aspects of recording and capturing your performance in the studio. Production involved the creative coaching and guiding of the music. So, if you want someone who can help take a voice-memo and turn it into a full fleshed out track, someone to recommend which amp to use and help dial in the tone, or someone to coach your singing and help add harmonies, production is the way to go. It can take a million different shapes, but it means that you have an extra set of ears that can support you in finding your vision and making it a reality.
